It does, infortuately. People are bitter, jealous, petty, and just plain ignorant. Sad part of a game infested by 13 year olds.

Xizzy?
You mean Izzy? Short for Isaiah Cartwright.. Also, Izzy is a dev.. he's not allowed to influence Te GvG matches. Guesting for PuG, Izzy's guild, is a different matter. All of Te's fame comes from their victories alone. There might have been a very very small amount of infamy from EP's attempt to get Te disqualified, but that's a different matter altogether.
p.s. Lulu is a girl.
And stop arguing about Lulu's gender or else this thread will be closed like all the others.

I barely skimmed these 9 pages, but I didn't see anyone mention Pridemaster's name. Btw LuLu is a girl. She sucks at Lineage2 though.

O.o Wow I never knew there were famous people on guild wars... I guess alot of people actually pay attention to the HoH outcomes. I only ever noticed the hoh if its a funny name "Your Maths Teacher has won in the hall of heroes..." That sort of thing.

take over my chat for a day, and ill see if you hold that same opinion.
i will not claim or even pretend that im known by a massive quantity of people (as in tens of thousands), but its not uncommon for me to get some "sup akh?"s when i go into a district; and more often than not i have zero clue who it is.
its not the pve aspect that makes you well-known...its repeatedly bidding and winning items in the millions that gives pve players a more common name.

oh, nice, am i getting flamed? i generally enjoy that. MrBiggums what in the world are you talking about? are you trying to call Prav an iway guild? and are you trying to pass off onto me the assumption that i play iway because i am the leader? i do concede that we have played iway as a guild before a few times, but those were in no way trying to gain fame or win, it was just a kind of way to have fun and cool down after a long day of tombing or gvging seriously. you can talk to any top player and they will tell you that they have done the same from time to time, regardless of the factor that brought them to it, whether it be boredom, need to relax, or (god forbid) because they thought they needed more fame. if youre trying to tell me that because i dislike builds that dont take skill to run, then i shouldnt be running iway you have no basis for your arguement. builds with no skill are the best way to kick back and relax when you dont want to think and it only begins to annoy me when it is all that someone plays or they play it seriously with the intention of winning and/or farming fame. 100% of the time you watch Prav in obs mode (well, let me knock that down to 95%), we are running a build that requires a lot of skill and teamwork, so i dont see why you are drawing the assumption that we run builds which lack skill as a necessity because you have seen a couple members running iway from time to time. please dont post such awful generalizations on public forums because if you look at your logic process, it doesnt seem to connect. try to look at the vast majority of experiences rather than pinpoint a couple specific ones in order to give a negative overtone to the entire guild.
gg = ftw

I've heard of most of the people mentioned in this thread, and I'm on the Euro server, but that is definitely because I visit GWG regularly. I don't think there's anybody that well known on this side of the pond, but I could be wrong.
